Discs: We cannot accept deeply scratched, chipped, cracked, or stained titles (this applies to both sides of the disc). If a disc is beyond repair we will return it to you at your expense. Even if a disc plays fine for you we may decide a disc needs buffing for cosmetic purposes if there are fine scratches. The buffing deduction is 0.50 per disc. A DVD or Video Game received in sub standard condition may be accepted, but 25-50% will be deducted for other repairs like removing ink initials or stickers.
Cases: A DVD or Video Game that originally came with the industry standard single dvd or video game case will be accepted regardless of the condition of the case. MX123 will cover the cost of replacing cases if needed. However, box sets or items with irreplaceable cases may be returned to you at your expense or bought at a 25-50% discount. Reconsider selling box sets to us with cases that are cracked, have writing or stickers, or are nicked or dented.
Artwork: All cover art, liner notes, booklets, instructions, tray linings, etc. that came with the original product must be included and in clean condition to receive full price. All items must include its original cover artwork but if an item is missing its original liner notes, booklets, instructions or tray linings a $0.50-1.00 will be deducted. Artwork with stickers or ink marks will be considered missing. For video games missing game instructions $2.00 will be deducted.
New DVDs and Video Games: We only purchase used merchandise. If you send us new merchandise it will be returned to you.
Copied DVDs: Only original titles will be accepted, we cannot
accept copies.
Rental Store DVDs will be accepted: But they should adhere to our product requirements otherwise a price reduction may be made. If missing inserts, a deduction of $0.50-1.00 will be made. If rental store labels or markings appear anywhere on the cover art or disc it will be bought at a 25-50% discount.
Video Game Systems, Video Game Accessories and DVD players: We do not buy them through the mail. We only purchase these through our retail stores. Even if their titles or UPC numbers may appear in a search we do not buy them so do not send them.
"Precut holes":
If the Product has some type of manufactured holes etc. on their case - we will accept them but we will deduct $0.60 per DVD or Game title.
Punched / Marked Titles: Some special sale items are marked by distributors / retailers by punching a hole through the UPC code, cover art, liner notes or instructions. We will accept these titles, as long as they meet our quality standards listed above.
Promotional
DVDs: We do not accept DVDs and Video Games marked as Promotional.
Region 1 Dvds: We accept only Region 1 (North America) DVDs. Canadian DVDs are purchased at a 25% discount.
Gameboy games: We only buy GameBoy Titles (gb, gba, gbc, gbds) that have their original box and instructions with them.
Return shipping
charge: In case, we reject one or more of your DVDs or Games, MX123 will ship any titles that fail to meet our quality standards back to you at a cost to you of $2.00 for the first item and $0.50 for each additional item. Usually we attempt to repair discs that are repairable but if there are many discs in bad condition or artwork is irreparable, we will return the package back to you. If you don't want us to return such packages, you can add a note in your package authorizing MX123 to dispose of the package that fails to meet our quality guidelines.
